How to loose your stick- Judah

At the time when Judah left his brothers and went to stay with a man of Adullam called Hirah there he met the daughters of a Canaan man their name was Shua. He married, had sex, she conceived and she had a son named Er. She conceived again, and had a son Onan. This continued and another son and named him Shelah. He was born at Kezib. Judah obtained a wife for his first born named Tamar. But Er Judah's first born was wicked. I Am saw and I Am killed him. Judah said to Onan, have sex with your brother's wife. Do your duty boy! Produce a baby for your brother. But Onan saw that the baby wouldn't be his so when he had sex he withdrew and spilled the semen on the ground so as not to produce a baby for his brother. I Am saw this as wicked so he killed him as well. Judah said to Tamar his daughter in law, live in my house as a widow until Shelah grows up. Now he thought perhaps he will die just like his brothers so she lived in her father's house. After a long time Judah's wife Shua died. When he had grieved Judah went to Timnah sheep shearing with his friend Hirah from Adullam. When Tamar was told 'Look your father is going to Timnah to shear sheep she took off her widows clothes. Put on a veil and disguised herself sitting at the enterance to Enaim which is on the raod to Timnah because she had noticed that Shelah was old enough and yet she had not been given him as a wife. Judah saw her thinking she was a prostitute because she was disguised. He went to her at the roadside and said come no and let me have sex with you not realizing that it was his daughter in law. She asked "What will you give me to have sex with you ?" He said "I wilol send a baby goat from my flock. ' She asked 'What will you give me as promise until you send it ?" He said 'What promise do you want ?' She answered "The seal of your belt and your ( shepherd's-Ed)stick"He gave them to her and he had sex with her and she concieved by him. She rose left took of her disguiuse and went back to widow clothes. Now Judah sent a young goat to his friend from Adullah to get his promise back from the woman but they could not find her. they asked the local men 'Where is the religious prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim ?' They replied 'There isn't any religious prostitute around here' They went back to Judah and told him that they hadn't found her and the men around there said there wasn't a religious prostitute. the Judah said 'Let her keep what she has or I will be mocked. I did send a young goat but they couldn't find her. Now about 3 months later Judah was told 'Your daughter in law has slept around and now she is pregnant. She prostituted. They said to Judah 'Bring her out and she can be burned' As she was being taken out she sent a message to her father in law saying the man who made me pregnant gave me his promise, his belt and stick. Judah recognized and said 'she is more right because I didn;t give her Shelah my son. He did not have sex with her again. When the time came for her to give birth, look twin boys. As she came to birth one put out his hand and the doctor tied to his wrist a red thread. He pulled back his hand and his brother was born first. She said 'You broke out so you are called 'Break'/Peraz And then came his brother with the red on his wrist so they called him Zerah-Sunrise.
