At the time when Judah left his brothers and went to stay with a man of Adullam called Hirah there he met the daughters of a Canaan man their name was Shua. He married, had sex, she conceived and she had a son named Er. She conceived again, and had a son Onan. This continued and another son and named him Shelah. He was born at Kezib. Judah obtained a wife for his first born named Tamar. But Er Judah's first born was wicked. I Am saw and I Am killed him. Judah said to Onan, have sex with your brother's wife. Do your duty boy! Produce a baby for your brother. But Onan saw that the baby wouldn't be his so when he had sex he withdrew and spilled the semen on the ground so as not to produce a baby for his brother. I Am saw this as wicked so he killed him as well. Judah said to Tamar his daughter in law, live in my house as a widow until Shelah grows up. Now he thought perhaps he will die just like his brothers so she lived in her father's house. After a long time Judah's wife Shua died. When he had grieved Judah went to Timnah sheep shearing with his friend Hirah from Adullam. When Tamar was told 'Look your father is going to Timnah to shear sheep she took off her widows clothes. Put on a veil and disguised herself sitting at the enterance to Enaim which is on the raod to Timnah because she had noticed that Shelah was old enough and yet she had not been given him as a wife. Judah saw her thinking she was a prostitute because she was disguised. He went to her at the roadside and said come no and let me have sex with you not realizing that it was his daughter in law. She asked "What will you give me to have sex with you ?" He said "I wilol send a baby goat from my flock. ' She asked 'What will you give me as promise until you send it ?" He said 'What promise do you want ?' She answered "The seal of your belt and your ( shepherd's-Ed)stick"He gave them to her and he had sex with her and she concieved by him. She rose left took of her disguiuse and went back to widow clothes. Now Judah sent a young goat to his friend from Adullah to get his promise back from the woman but they could not find her. they asked the local men 'Where is the religious prostitute who was beside the road at Enaim ?' They replied 'There isn't any religious prostitute around here' They went back to Judah and told him that they hadn't found her and the men around there said there wasn't a religious prostitute. the Judah said 'Let her keep what she has or I will be mocked. I did send a young goat but they couldn't find her. Now about 3 months later Judah was told 'Your daughter in law has slept around and now she is pregnant. She prostituted. They said to Judah 'Bring her out and she can be burned' As she was being taken out she sent a message to her father in law saying the man who made me pregnant gave me his promise, his belt and stick. Judah recognized and said 'she is more right because I didn;t give her Shelah my son. He did not have sex with her again. When the time came for her to give birth, look twin boys. As she came to birth one put out his hand and the doctor tied to his wrist a red thread. He pulled back his hand and his brother was born first. She said 'You broke out so you are called 'Break'/Peraz And then came his brother with the red on his wrist so they called him Zerah-Sunrise.

How to loose your sandal

If brothers are living together and one dies without a son his widow must not marry outside the family to a strange man. The brothers husband must take her as a wife and do his duty. The first born will carry the name of his brother so the name does not die out (Did you hear that all the Fountain family in New Zealand are the descendants of a man who died going out to India named Fountain to work with William Carey- so his name did not die out and he will have a large family in heaven-Ed) in Israel. But if he doesn't want to marry his brother's wife she goes to the town gate where the elders gather and tells them that he brother in law refuses to carry on in Israel the name and he will not do his duty. The elders of the town will call him and talk to him and if he insists in saying I won't marry her then she the widow will go to him in front of the elders and take off his sandal from his foot, spit in his face and say this is what happens to the man who will not build up his brother's family. He will be known in Israel as the man who lost his sandal.

David's family

Ruth the rest of the story

At the time of the Judges there was a famine. A man from Beth Lehem in Judah went to live in the territory of Moab with his wife and sons. His name was Elimelech and his wife's name was Naomi. His sons were Mahon and Kilon. They were from Ephratha from Beth Lehem Judah. They went to the territory an Moab and lived there. Now Elimelech husband of Naomi died leaving her with two sons. They married Moab woman and there was Orhah and the other Ruth. They lived there 10 years. They died as well both of them Mahon and Kilon leaving Naomi without her sons and her husband. She and her daughters in law prepared to return from Moab when she had heard from Moab I Am had come to help her people with bread. She left from the place where she lived with her daughters in law with her. Setting out on the road back to Judah Naomi said to her two daughters in law go back each of you to your mothers home and may I Am show kindness to you as you did to me and those who died. May I Am give you rest in the home of another husband. She kissed them and they wept out loud. they said to her we will go back with you to your people. But Naomi said; 'Go Back!' my daughters. why come with me ? I have no more sons to produce for you as husbands; 'Go Back!' I am too old to get another husband and even if I did and then had sons would you wait for them to grow up ? No my daughters. Bitter more for me than it is for you because the hand of I Am is against me. They wept out loud and again kissed Orhap but Ruth clung to her. She said 'Look your sister in law is going back to her people and her gods' Ruth said 'Don't urge me to leave, to repent, for where you go I will go, where you stay I will stay, your people will be my people, your god will be my God, where you die I will die and there I will be buried. May I Am deal with me extremely seriously if any thing but death separates me from you. Realizing this determination she had to go with her she stopped urging her. they went on the two of them until Beth Lehem. Arriving in Beth Lehem the whole town was agitated saying; Is this Naomi? She said don't call me Naomi, call me Bitter (Mara-Ed) I went away full returning empty I Am Why call me Naomi ? I Am has damamged me. the Greatest brought evil on me. She returned Naomi and Ruth of Moab her daughter in law returning from the territory of Moab arriving at Beth Lehem at the start of the barley harvest. Naomi's relative was an important man from the clam of Elimelech called Boaz. Ruth of Moab said to Naomi 'Let me go to the field to gather grain left behind in the harvest with someone who helps me. She said 'My daughter Go!' She went and picked up food in the field behind the harvesters and it happened that she was in a section of field of Boaz from the clan of Elimelech. Boaz arriving from Beth Lehem said hello to the harvesters 'I Am be with you I Am bless you they replied. Then Boaz asked his workers his harvest foreman 'Who is that woman?' The harvest foreman in charge of the harvest said 'The young woman is Moab she came back with Naomi from the territory of Moab. She asked 'Please let me gather leftover food gathering behind the harvesters, she has been working in the field from morning until now except for a short break in the shelter. Boaz said to Ruth, 'My daughter listen to me. don't collect in another field, don't go away but stay here with my female workers. Watch the field where they harvest and follow them. I have told the men not to touch you. When you are thiorsty go to the water containers and get a drink, the men fill them.' she bowed down face to the ground and asked 'Why do I have favor in your eyes when I am an alien (Foreigner-Ed) Boaz replied saying to her 'I've been told all you have done for your mother in law since your husband died. You have left father and mother , your homeland and come to a people you haven't known before yesterday. May I Am pay back what you have done and reward you richly I Am God of Israel whom you have come to take refuge under his wings. She said 'May I find favor in your eyes My Master You have comforted me spoken to the heart of your slave (Amah-Ed) even though i am not one of your female workers. Boaz said to her 'At meal breaks come here and eat bread and dip your bread in the wine. when she sat with the harvesters the offered her muesli. She ate her fill and had some left over. When she got up to gather Boaz ordered his men 'Even if she gathers from the collected don't embarrass her, instead pull stuff out and don't tell her off' So she gathered food in the field until evening and after threshing her grain had got about a sack of barley. She went back to town and when her mother in law saw what she had got and Ruth also brought out the lunch food she had left over her mother in law asked 'Where did you gather today ?' She told her mother in law who she worked with and she said the name of the man I worked with today was Boaz. Naomi said to her daughter in law 'May he be blessed by I Am who hasn't topped his kindness to the living and to the dead. Naomi then said to her; 'This man is a close to us. He has the right of Repossession. Ruth of Moab then said 'He even told me to stay with his workers until we finish the entire harvest' Naomi said to Ruth her daughter in law 'It wilol be good for you my daughter that you stay with his girls, in someone else's field you migh be molestered. Ruth stayed close to the female workers of Boaz gathering left over food both barley and wheat harvests until the end and lived with her mother in law. Now Naomi her mother in law said; 'My daugher I should try to find a home for you where you are safe and he wioll look after you. Now Boaz is our relative and you were with his female workers. Tonight he will be down at the barn processing grain, Wash yourself, put on make up perfume and your best clothes and go down to the barn but don't let him know you are there until je has finished eating and drinking. when he lies down see where he has lain down. then go and open his cloak (the text says 'feet'-Ed I know but there could be more to it-paul) and lie at his feet. He will tell you what to do. I will do all that you told me. So she went down to the barn and did all her mother in law had said. Boaz ate and drank and was happy and went to lie down at the far end in a pile of grain. She came quietly and uncovered him and lay down. In the middle of the night he woke with a start, turned and saw a woman lying at his feet. He asked 'Who?' She replied 'Ruth' 'Your slave cover your slave with your garment since you can reposes me' He replied By I Am my daughter you have shown kindness greater than before not going after a younger man either or a rich man. Now my daughter don't be afraid. Everything you ask I will do. The opinion of the people at the gate is that you are noble. It is true that I am a close relative but there is a closer repossession than me. Stay here tonight and in the morning if he wants to buy back, great, he can buy back, but if he is unwilling to buy you back I will buy you back by the life of I Am. Sleep until morning. So she lay at his feet until morning, got up while still dark so the neighbors wouldn't recognize anyone. He said 'Don't let anyone know you came to the barn' He said 'Bring you head covering, hold it out' into it he poured six measures of barley and put it one her. she went back to toen. Returning her mother in law asked. 'How did it go daugher in law?" she told her all that the man had done for her. She said 'He gave me these six measures of barley, saying don;t go back to your mother in law empty. Naomi said 'Wait and see what happens he won't rest until he sorts this thing out today'

After that I saw a door in heaven opened and a voice reverberated like a trumpet which i had heard before speaking to me saying 'Come up here I will show you things which must happen after this' Straight away I was in the spirit and saw a throne in heaven and on the throne sitting. He sitting had the appearance of a stone diamond ruby and rainbow completely encircled the throne like an emerald. Around the throne on their thrones I saw 24 elders sitting clothed in white garments, on their heads were crowns of gold. coming from the throne was lightening and thunder and the sound of the seven blazing lambs before the throne which is the seven spirit of God. In front of the throne was a glass sea like crystal. In the middle and around the throne four living creatures full of eyes front and back/ yhe first living creature like a lion, second a calf, third the face of a man, the forth an eagle flying. The four living had six wings covered with eyes all around them and within as well. They didn't cease day and night saying; Special special special Master God the greatest was is and will be. whenever the living gave triumph and respect and thanks to the one on the throne who lives time period to time period the 24 elders fall before the throne saying; 'You are worthy O Master to receive triumph and respect and power because you make everything for your purpose and they were made.

Old man gets a wife

Now Boaz went to the gates of the town and sat there. Seeing the person with the right of repossession coming (whom Boaz had spoken about) he said Come here and sit down. The acquaintance sat down. And Boaz gathered 10 town elders and asked them to sit as well. He said to ‘repossession’ Naomi has returned from Moab and is seling the land of Elimelech our relative. I thought i should tell you and suggest that you buy it in the presence of those sitting here our elders. If you will buy back then buy back if not buy back then tell me and so i will know because after you I can buy back. He said ‘I will buy back’ Then Boaz said ‘The day you buy the land from Naomi and from Ruth who is Moab you get the dead man’s wife in order to continue the name of the dead on the land. Repossession then said ‘I cannot buy back’ because it puts my other holdings in danger. You buy back because I cannot buy back. Now back then in Israel to buy back transfer business a man took off his shoe and gave it to the other to make it final in Israel . Repossession saying to Boaz ‘Buy it’ took off his shoe. Boaz then told the elders and all the people witnesses that day. ‘I buy all that Elimelech, Kilon, Mahlon had from Naomi and Ruth as well from Moab Mahlon’s widow. I get her as wife so that the name of the dead will not disappear from his family or the town gate records. Today you are witnesses. Then the elders at the gate and everyone said; ‘We are witnesses, may I Am make the woman coming to your home like Rachel and Leah building up Israel. May you stand in Ephratah and your reputation be House of Bread (Bethlehem-Ed) May yopur family be like the family of Perez who (younger) Tamar birthed for Judah through the descendantds I Am gives you by this young woman. So Boaz took Ruth as his wife and went into her. I Am gave a conception and she produced a son. The woman said to Naomi Praise I Am who hasn’t left you without repossession. This day may your name be Israel. He is renewing your life keeping you in your old age. Your daughter loves you which is better than seven sons. Naomi took the baby in her lap adn cared for him. The woman living there said ‘Naomi has a son’ They called him obed father of Jesse father of David. The family tree is Perez. Perez father of Hezron, Hezron father of Ram, Ram father of Amminadab, Amminadab father of Nahshon, Nahson father of Salma, Salma father of Boaz, Boaz father of Obed, Obed father of Jesse, Jesse father of David.

The nations

A man lived at Caesarea named Cornelius. Army Captain of a regiment called Italians. Serious God fearing his entire house generously helping the Jewish people and prating continuously to God. He had a vision around 3 pm in the afternoon. A messenger of God coming to him saying ‘Cornelius’ Staring in terror he said ‘What is it master’ He replied ‘ Your prayers and generous helping has gone up and is remembered by God and now he is sending to Joppa a man. Ask for Simeon who goes by the man Peter saying at Simon the tanner s house down by the waterfront. He will tell you what to do’ When the messenger had departed Cornelius called two servants and a serious soldier, his attendants and told them everything sending them to Joppa. The next day while these men were still travelling coming near to the city Peter went up on the roof top to pray. It was about midday. He began to feel powerfully hungry and wanted to eat. But while a meal was being prepared he went into a new dimension seeing heaven opened coming down to him (UFO’s ?-Ed) an object like a great sheet. Coming down by it’s four corners to earth. On it were the four legged animals, wild beasts, living things and birds of the skies. Then a voice said ‘Get up Peter kill and eat’ No way said Peter. ‘Master because I have never eaten anything ordinary or unclean. Again a second time the voce said to him ‘Don’t call what God has cleaned ordinary. Three times this happened before the UFO was taken again up to heaven (Aliens-Ed) Being perplexed by this vision he had seen the same time the men sent by Cornelius had found the house of Simon and stood at the door asking if this was the house of Simon. Then asking if there was someone named Peter staying there. As Peter was pondering the vision the spirit spoke to him saying ‘ So Peter went down to the men who Cornelius had sent to him and said- Look I’m the one you are looking for, what is the problem which has brought you here ? They said that Cornelius an army captain, a man who does right fearing God, highly regarded by the Jewish people was told be a special messenger to send for you to this house . and to hear what you have to say. So Peter invited them in and they stayed overnight. Peter then next day went with them and other brothers from joppa. On the next day after that they entered Caesarea with Cornelius expecting them calling together family and close friends. As Peter was coming Cornelius went out to meet him and fell at his feet worshipping him (Pastor Peter?-Ed) But Peter pulled him up telling him to get up because ‘I am a man just like you’ they talked and then found a large number of people gathered He said to them ‘You know it is against the (Jewish) Rule for a Jew to associate or unite with other races. God showed to me that no man must be called ordinary or unclean. This is why i have come here when sent for. Now I want to know why you sent for me. Cornelius replied , four days ago about this time I was fasting and praying about 3 pm in my house and suddenly a man in shinning clothes stood before me and said ‘Cornelius your prayer has been heard and your generousity remembered by God. Send to Joppa and get a man called Simon Peter who is staying at the house of Simon the tanner on the foreshore and he will come and speak to you. Straight away I sent for you and you have come. Now we are all here in God’s presence waiting to hear what God has ordained you to say. Peter opened his mouth and said ‘Now I understand that God doesn’t discriminate. But in every nation those who fear him and do right them he accepts. The word which he sent to the descendants of Israel announcing good news, peace the Anointed Jesus who is master of all men you know. The story of happenings through the Jewish region from Galilee after the immersion that John taught, Jesus was from Nazareth anointed by God with the Special spirit, with power went about doing good healing all who were under the power of the devil because God was with him. And we are witnesses of what he did both the Jewish region and ion Jerusalem. Put to death and hanged on a tree God raised him the third day and let him be seen but not by everyone. But to the witnesses chosen by God., those of us who ate and drank with him after with him after he had risen from the dead. He commissioned us to preach to people and to give testimony that he is the one who has been appointed by God as judge of the living and dead. He is the one all prophets witness. Everyone who believes in him receives in him name forgiveness of failure. As Peter was speaking these words there fell the Special Sprit on all who were listening. The believers who were circumcised (Jews-Ed) were amazed, those who had come with Peter; that as well the gift of the Special Spirit had been poured out on the nations because they heard speaking in strange languages, glorifying God. Peter then said ‘Can anyone refuse water or say these should not be immersed whom the Special Spirit has received as we should. He ordered them to be immersed in the name of the master. They begged him to stay some days.
