Hebrews 4b

Accounting that inspite of being dead was able to reawaken therefore he recieved an illustration from God.
Faith for the future Issac commended Jacob and Esau.
Faith dying Jacob commendeed each of the sons of Joseph worsipped on the top of his stick. (A double meaning?-Ed think what ever you like-paul)
Faith Joseph finished but thinking about the exit of the descendants of Israel gave instructions for the disposal of his bones.
Faith Moses born hidden three months by his father because he was an urban child (What does that mean ? I don't know but that is what it said-paul) Didn't fear the Kings ruling.
Faith Moses becoming great rejected being called the son of the daughter of Pharaoh instead chose affliction with God's people rather than the seasonal gratification of failure. Greater riches over riding the investments of Egypt. The rejection of the Anointed fixed on the repayment.
Faith abandoned egypt fearing the King's anger, the unseen he saw and he was patient.
Faith made the 'paska' (What's that ?-Ed I think it is Hebrew for 'passover'-paul) pouring the blood on or else the destroyer of the first born would touch them.
Faith crossed over the Red Sea through the dry which the Egyptians making an attempt were swallowed up.
Faith the walls of Jericho fell circling around seven times. (Ed did I ever tell you the amazing story of how the New Zealand army came down a goat track single file and took Jericho at the time of the Almond Blossum Spring 1918)
Faith Rahab the slut wasn't annihilated with the rebellious instead received the researchers with harmony. (Well that certianly puts a spin on it!-Ed Well peace isn't quite the right word)
What else can we say here ? I have failed to say about the time of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David and yes Samuel for the prophets.
By faith overwhellmed governments enforced right, settled on promises, closed lions mouths smothered the power of fire, escaped the mouth of the sword, enpowered when weak became fit for war, raiders of aliens (HEY stop, King James said 'Aliens put to flight' which proves the existence of UFOs known about in the bible-Ed Well whatever you get out of it- good on ya!)
aliens bowed. Women took their dead raised others beaten not accepting ransome payment as an option, hit on a better raising. Others scorn, whippings, took attempts on them as well as detentions and prisons, had stones thrown at them, cut down the middle (Man what kind of list is this ? Is this extracted from the CIA contractors instruction manuel ?-Ed) Tested with murder by the sword. Died; Went around in sheep and goat skins, remaining short of things, under pressure, abused. They wer not fair value for civilisation. Wandered off into deserts (Yes Cabel and French found a place in Xinjiang with the name Ephesus dating back to Christians arriving from Turkey to China in the very first centuries of this Common Era-Ed) mountains and caves live in holes in the ground. (Exactly what we found in that part of China-Ed) All gave testimony; Faith yet didn't recieve the promise. For us God has something better they looking forward but not without us, complete.

  1. Here in Auckland New Zealand the Auckland University 'Doty' Thesis on Bible translation accurately reviews the current failure. (the traditional word used to be 'sin'-Ed)
I am extrememly grateful to my learned brother for taking time to explain just how badly the current system is broken, which ofcourse leads us to pray to God that it will be fixed!
My day to day work as a labourer involves carefully and prayerfully pulling down a large and terrifyingly poorly built 1961 structure. Typical of my nation at the ends of the earth it is a world first (See U Tube 'nganv'-Ed).
There in that very poor and working class part of Auckland fifty years ago genuine men built a thing which by the grace of God alone haven't fallen down and hasn't suffered an earthquake to knock it down. Like other New Zealanders who will not enter nor work in 1960s concrete multi story structures that thing from 50 years ago has us in genuine fear of God as to the way it was built. But the good news is that we are replacing it with a forest of steel coated in concrete.
Now I have a deep love for the three men who shaped the English Translation of the Bible 50 years ago. Batcher, Phillips and Taylor (TEV, Phillips, Living versions-Ed) In heaven I will hug them all and thank them as tell them of those who were saved just reading the book.
But the time for 'Deconstruction' is here, and literally my work now in life is "build a bridge and get over it" (His last one allows all the good people of Auckland and the world to come to Mangere to get saved and learn about the Bible-Ed)
The task commenced here with this bible translation blog is the restoration of the cullture traditions thoughts quirky individuality reality and genuine human mistakes of the mainly Hebrew people who have preserved and who have given us this book. This thinking and language is an ancient Semetic code, then written in a multi-god easy to learn and use common Greek language.
Our job, those who read this, (and for you as writer-Ed) is to ask God (Psalm 2:8) to forgive us for the deaths of 6 millions Jews, to weep at what Christianity as a religion has done, and then even as massive deconstruction of the 1960s structures is going on to begin building things that will be strong and there for the 1000 years when our Master as promised returns to be King of his Kingdom here on earth.
Now sure about 100% of you reading this will disagree with something or other I have said- i love you! But hear what the spirit is saying to the church at this time. This is the day of change which at the commencement of the last 50 year period a young Jewish prophet Robert Zimmerman spoke of singing "The times they are a changing...hard rains gonna fall" sing it Bob!

  2. By now there will a number of 'special' (You-Ed) people from different parts of the world reading what I am producing. In terms of transaltion theory I was raised on TEV/GNB New such that I find myself without knowing it reproducing it's mistakes in my quoting of the bible without checking the Greek/Hebrew text first. But if you look carefully you will see in what I have produced so far a range of different translation styles, so what do you think ?

Be Bold! Use this comment area to say what you are thinking.

    Now on the topic of- should the reader of the translation understand what the person who wrote it in the first place understood let me say this;
As a prophet I say things which I don't understand Isaiah 60:8 Isaiah seeing A380 jet aircraft and it has him stumped. And speaking God's word I share his confusion.
Second- Books are sealed up in heaven and not opened until the right time, and this in human and church history the experience of the bible- so why should I presume that something would or should be understood it it not yet God's time for that- Daniel 11-13 is an excellent example.
Third- When I at BCNZ taught a group of older than myself men the gospel of John and Isaiah in the Samoan language situation I found myself saying things from those books which are unknown in my own language and culture but which make good sence in Samoan. In other words those Pacific peoples have greater understanding and heritage than my own culture has and God put me in 1977 into a Samoan immersion cultural situation to ensure i would learn and have that respect for Polynesian.
Fourth- We have only just like taking of the first layer or many layers of wrapping paper begun to return to Hebrew middle eastern culture. My 'Dynamic Tawhid' is the first and most basic admission the Christian theology belongs in the garbage can if it conflicts with crystal clear statments known and loved all over the middle east straight out of the Torah.

Anyway please make comments- anything as long as it isn't the Crap American response of disrespect we expect from people who blame USAma for the expert demolition of the twin towers in the heart of NY beginning this century.
