Brothers, my heart is happy, the need of God is the delieverance of Israel:
I testify to them with passion and not by knowledge. Ignorant of God's right way, their own right way searching to plant the right way of God. Not submitting to God. Completion the Anointed's law for being right for all who believe. Moses (In the Bible-Ed) writes about the right way of the law. 'By doing this mankind lives by that'(Lev 18:5) But the faith of the right way says; 'Don't say in your heart who shall go up to heaven ?' (Duet 30:12) to bring (Ed this might be describing aliens here-paul Yes have you seen that new movie 'Cowboys and Aliens' starring the former US President wanting to have his career as cowboy revived-Ronald Ray Gun-Ed) to bring the Anointed; 'Who will descend to the bottomless' (Duet 30:13) to bring the Anointed from death. 'What does it say ?'Near to you is the command. In your mouth in your heart' (Duet 30:14) The command of faith explained; If you agree by mouth Yeshua Master and believe in your heart God reawakened him from the dead-Delievered! For heart is belief for being right and mouth agrees for delieverance. The Bible says; 'All who believe on him will not be ashamed' (Isaiah 28:16) Jews Greeks no distinction. the master of everyone, rich to all that call him. (Ed thats written for you- you need to call on Yeshua and be saved!) 'All may call on the name Master and be delievered.' (Joel 2:32)
But how will they call on not believed ? How will they believe on not heard ? How will they hear without explanation? How explanation unless sent out ? As the Bible says 'Ripe are the feet good news harmony of those telling the Good News' (Isa 52:7) But not everyone obeyed the good news. Isaiah says 'Master who has believed what we heard?' (Isa 53:1) Faith is by what is heard, and what is heard is God's word. But I ask- Did you hear? Indeed into all the earth has gone out the sound to the limits of the inhabited world' (Ps 19:4) (Hey that verse describes where we live- Did you know that 1000 years ago Polynesians visited and lived on the Auckland Islands 50S- Man that is going to limits!) But I say; Israel did not understand. First Moses says; 'I will rpovoke them to jealousy by a not a nation by an ignorant nation' (Duet 32:21) (Yes I wanted to blog about that very thing- This US debt crisis proves that Moses knew what he was talking about-Ed) Isaiah is outspoken saying; 'I was found by those not searching being exhibited to those not researching' (Isa 65:1) Of Israel he says; 'All day i streacjed out my hands to people refusing and arguing against' (Isa 65:2) 11 So I say; Did God throw out his people? No Way! I am also an Israelite; sperm of Abraham, tribe of Benjamin. God didn't throw out his own people who he knew before. Remember in Elijah what the Bible says, he interceeds with God against Israel saying; 'Master they killed your prophets and places of scarifice demolished, I am left, only me and they search for my life. (1 Kings 19:10,14) And what was his advice ? 'I have seven thousand men left who have not bowed a knee to Baal.' (1 Kings 19:18) the same then in the current season. There is a 'left over' by the reward of choosing. And if reward then not from effort. Reward cannot be reward, if its effort its not reward-then effort is not longer effort. So what? Israel hardened, serching then didn't obtain the choosing that others obtained. As a result the Bible says;'God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that cannot see, ears unable to hear, to this time' (Duet 29:4) And Daivd says; 'May their table be a trap and upset repay them. Eyes darkened unable to see, their backs continually bowed down' (Ps 69:22.23) So I say. Tripped to fall? No Way! But their mistake is delieverance for nations to provoke them to jealousy. If mistakes are luxury for civilisation and their shortage luxury for nations, then much much more will be their completion. I speak for the nations as I am sent to nations, my work my reward. If doing this I am provoking jealousy, those who are my flesh, to deliever some... If cast aside, exchanged civilisation then acceptance; Life for death. If the first pick is special and the mixture, the root-special then branches too. If some branches broken off so wild olive is grafted becoming in common with the root and the richness of the olive- Well don't boast as a branch! If you want to boast the root carries you (Yes on that people should read our post on this blog-Watching paint dry-Ed) Your root! You can say; Branches were broken so I could be grafted in. OK. Not believing they were broken off. By faith you are planted. don't be highly intellectual rather fear! If God the natural branches didn't aquit, neither you aquit. OK then enjoyable and sudden to you; Enjoyable if you continue, enjoyable or else hit your head! And if they didn't continue, not believing, God is powerful to graft in again. Graft them in. If naturally you a wild olive hit your head and unnaturally were grafted into the good olive then much more then it is natural they should be grafted into their own olive. Look I don't want you brothers to be unable to understand this confidential idea or else become yourselves-wise. Hardness for part of Israel has been until the completion of the nations is come in. All Israel will be delievered as it is found in the Bible; 'Out of Zion the rescuer to remove disrespect for Jacob. And from me this agreement when removing their failure' (Isa 59:20-21) For the good news-hated for you; but the choosing loved for the ancestors. The reward and call of God without regret. Just as you were once rebellious to God now kindness in thier rebellion. therefore rebellious now the kindness you have. they also will have kindness. We are all netted with God. In rebellion, all kindness.
Oh deep riches both wisdom and knowledge of God. How mysterious his judgement and trackless his way. 'Who knows the mind of the Master ? Who became his advisor ? Who first returned favor ? Of him, through him and to him everything all continuing triumph. Let it be' (Isa 40:13)
The difference between this an previous translations is the degree of control that I have over the text; Control by a Bible translator only shared in translation history by Luther and St Jerome.
ReplyDeleteAll translators copy the style and word choices of others- any who say otherwise are liars.
King James is a good example as Godsped and others show of taking the very best of all the previous European transaltions which begin with Luther to put the language into common/koin with the smallest number of appropriate words to carry meaning. The 1940s-60s translations are something different and the ones after that commerciallly driven for popular appeal.(In English-Ed)
Now take the word 'beautiful' to illustrate how I am different. My son tells me that most pre literacy langauges have a small word selection. And constrained by the small list of words used in the Bible I keep to that. With "beautiful" typically St Paul who has the largest and most diverse-challenged knowledge of Greek as writer, is joined using this word by Matthew and Luke. I have translated it with a primary meaning 'ripe' as in terms of the concept that was in the heads of a Koin language user with an older Greek than the first century where politically through out the now Roman empire massive changes have and are taking place (See the current National Geographic article on Cleopatra the first Greek Emperess in Egypt to speak Egyptian and have and Egyptian style-desperate days!)
Catholic- is a Latin word=correct. I have the misfortune to have lived almost every day of my life 'incorrect' as regards religion. As a 17 year old carrying a deep burden for my fellow students for who I was their leader I went ot my elders for support and they replied by almost on a split decision expelling me from the church. And things have never gotten better. So with nothing to loose I am freer than most to attempt to be true with the considerable unused scholarship put up by those contributing to this work. We are not 'Catholic'
If you rate Saint Nestor of Central Asia, Edward Irving or now Rob Bell- any of those seriously Great Saints who have shaped our religion and continue to shape it as people continue to label all of themn false from a 'correct' point of view, then please add my name to that list of those who fellowship with the one killed outside the camp, despised rejected and aquainted with grief. Like St Paul the only real boasting an apostle can make is how many times we have been cast out... love paul. P.S If you are looking for a fight over your understanding of these two chapters..sorry you have already lost. The book of Hebrews and the chapters of Romans before this one have defeated your position.
From now on when we argue/debate our religion we can only use Koin Greek and that related backwards to Hebrew through the Septuigant. What 'the church' has decided as being 'correct'- the agree false teaching making up any theological degree or doctorate - is no longer is valid. ReplyDeleteIn Norway a Hitler supporter (see my discoveringhitler blog) gunned down children who would have been my children had the event occured here. A friend married to a Chinese (knowing my views on the Chi Hao Tian Speech/Epoch Timese) asked about what I think of cross cultural marriage. I replied that the first person I seriously wanted to marry and am thus covenanted to eternally is/was a Singaporian Small South Chinese, and that the message therefore of these chapters is Both.
Yesterday I spent time with our security gate man a Large North Chinese intellectual and blew him away showing from respected scholarship how China has culturally and intellectually even in her recent revolutions; A middle east Jewish derived cultural and intellectual foundation.
It reminds me- he will become a Christain now- of what Paul says here. The nations were not researching these matters but God comes along and gives China in the Chinese New Year and the Character 'yi'(Righteousness) the gospel of Exodus chapter 12. And I explain it to someone who has lost his confidence meeting the real impossible to explain things happening here now.
Covenant with God is an option.
And spiritual and eternal yet if we read Romans 8 carefully it is not flesh or spirit but rather spirit in flesh. And that means we can be all staunch and Wahabist-legalist and proud pretending that no we would never get involved in changing nappies and living in someone elses dysfunctional family in some God knows where ends of the earth location. Or we can enter the covenant by faith , that faith out worked by getting on a plane and fleeing China to see what sort of salvation God is working out for Ephraim at this time. Anyway with USA publicly showing themselves to be fulfilling the words spoken by Moses found in chapter 10- Things are now changing at a speed not previously seen since the collapse of the British Empire, the British flag walked outside the city that Sunday morning in Feb 1942 when we eternally lost face in the East.
With signs of it happening mid to late 50s,-50 years ago a new 'Charismatic' church movememnt occured. When you look at the Time Magazine account of the Jesus People revival in California in the early 70s (Calvary Chapel et al) it is not apparent, but maybe now with Aneheim 'Living Springs' just how massive an input to that movement by a Chinaman in jail at that time; Nee Dou Sheng- Wittness Nee.
ReplyDeleteIn the India printed version of his popular book The Normal Christian Life he explains the Pentecostal experience of being Baptised in the Holy Spirit, but the real pay dirt is found in his first book which he claims to be no longer avaliable- The Spiritual Man.
Thus the entire Charismatic Movement was intellectually undergirded by the prayers and work of a saint Apostle who never visited USA in Prison unknown and forgotten by all but God- Much the same as happens with St Paul at the end of his life.
Now my view for what it is worth is that the death of Watchman Nee co-inciding with the development of Chrismatic churches with formal (contrary to the Brotherhood/Brethren principles by which we had worked) saw the beginning of the end of this Charismatic movement which in it's current rejection of Rob Bell for debateable so called 'Theological' reasons will see the end of that transitory 'Charismatic' phase of church history.
Sure the Kingdom Now Pentecostal churches sit on a pure Facist (I refer readers to the 1938 Britannica Year Book definition of that term) elitist view of Christ which is undercut by him riding a donkey into Jerusalem as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
So I am in my heart still seeking a 'Brethren' -Just brothers system and structure of church.
1. The way you judge others is the way you are judged. So don't judge ideas/doctrine/theology.
2. Elders know the local conditions and the people-history; They oversee the church
3. Christ is the head of the church. Obey him
4. Ministers- serve; the more humble the better.
5. We have the Bible still so lets use the whole thing, and see what it reveals.
6. Growth is essential so build for thousands and 10s of thnousands, but a month meeting in park somewhere might be all you do...Sports?
7. Covenant is about families built eternally.
